Shooting Star, is an interactive platform to bring together creative minds.
As the name suggests ‘Shooting Star’ is an event to celebrate talent within young creatives.
Flying Saucer collaborates with Yahoo! to launch an exciting new competition for fresh new creatives from within the advertising agencies or any working professional in India under 28 years of age. Please note that you could be in any job in any part of India, if you are under 28 years, you can apply. You can submit a maximum of 3 scripts. Not necessarily as a campaign. All three ideas can be different since we have to choose only one piece of creative.
“Looking back at my own career, I started as a junior copywriter. I was most interested in writing films and daily churned out so many ideas for different brands. Sometimes for existing ones and sometimes for made up brands. I was convinced that if any of those daring, bold films were made, I would definitely be noticed, even win awards. And I wanted to be noticed because then I would be given more films to write”. – Pushpendra Misra
This competition would provide young writers with an opportunity to write an ad film on a real brief. The ad film would be produced by Flying Saucer for Yahoo!
No need to do ‘Patli Gali’ anymore. If you believe in your talent and are charged enough to churn out crazy ideas then read the brief given by Yahoo! and send us your script.
The winning script would be produced by Flying Saucer with one of the directors on their panel.
